The Maryland Sporting Dog Association (MSDA) is pleased to welcome you to our 2023 annual Spring AKC Hunting Tests for Spaniels.

These flushing dog hunt tests are being held at Rebel Ridge Farms, one of the premier gun dog training and testing facilities on the East Coast. The grounds include open mixed-cover and hay fields, trees scattered throughout the property as well as tree lines and woods, creek bottom, and technical and natural ponds.

MSDA will make every effort to make this a pleasant day for you and your dog. Please cooperate with the marshals; they have been instructed to adhere to the running order as closely as possible. If you have a conflict, please speak to the marshals of the stakes involved. Park in designated parking areas only, dispose of all litter properly, and treat the grounds with respect.

We would like to thank Lyn Yelton and Jeff Lyons for the use of the property. We also wish to thank all of those who have made this event possible, especially the judges; your contribution in time, expertise, and enthusiasm, in addition to time spent away from your homes and an opportunity to run your own dogs, is greatly appreciated. We thank our gun captain and gunners, our bird steward, the marshals, and all the workers both in the field and behind the scenes.

We trust everyone will enjoy the weekend and enjoy your time here in Maryland.

To all the participants: Good luck and have fun!

A final note - MSDA is a group of dog owners and friends working for the good of all dogs, but especially sporting dogs. If you’re looking for additional information about our club and other MSDA events, please visit
