WELCOME STATEMENT

The Western Washington English Springer Spaniel Club is pleased to host this field trial for English Cocker Spaniels.
We will be holding stakes for English springer spaniels in conjunction with this trial. We are looking forward to making this weekend a success for both springers and cockers and hope that you will join us!

Friday the 16th
Springer open 8 AM. After first and second series, the Cockers will run their first and second series.
Cocker Puppies will run at the completion of both second series.
Followed by the third series for the Springers and then the Cocker‘s

Saturday The 17th
Cocker open starts at 8 AM. After first and second series, the Springers will run their first and second series Springer Puppies will run at the completion of both second series, Followed by a third series of Cockers and then Springers.

Sunday the 18th
Both amateurs. (Start TBD by coin flip)

DRAWINGS/RUNNING ORDER

Drawings will take place at Huntsecretary.com 8:00 AM ET on 9/7/2022. The Running Order will be electronically randomized and adjusted slightly to accommodate handlers running multiple dogs.

 

SCRATCHES

Scratches prior to closing date will be refunded by HuntSecretary.com.

 

After the closing date, all scratches will be handled based on the Club Scratch Policy specified below.

The entry fee for bitches in season will be refunded.

DIRECTIONS TO FIELD TRIAL:

Southbound on I-5 take exit #109, Martin Way, turn right at bottom of off ramp. Turn left onto College St. This will turn into Rainier Road. When you reach the intersection of Yelm Hwy, keep going straight. From here it’s approx. 7 miles. Area 20 will be on your left. It’s a paved road. There will be signs or flags out.

Northbound on I-5 take exit #102, Trosper Road. Turn right, then left at Capitol Blvd. Turn right on Custer and right again on Cleveland. Cleveland turns into Yelm Hwy. Turn right onto Rainier Road. From here it’s approx. 7 miles. See above.

I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. I (we) certify and represent that the dog entered is not a hazard to persons or other dogs. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.
