WELCOME STATEMENT

Welcome to the English Cocker Spaniel Club of America National Specialty Hunt Test.
There will be a limit of 35 dogs each day. All tests are open to all breeds eligible for AKC Spaniel Hunt Tests. Dogs must be six months of age or older on the day of the test. Since these tests are held as part of the 2022 ECSCA National Specialty, preference will be given to English Cocker Spaniels

The safety of our participants is important to us.

The AKC and the ECSCA require that all people in the field wear BLAZE ORANGE clothing. A cap by itself is not sufficient to meet this requirement.

Severe correction or discipline will not be allowed on any part of the grounds.
Handlers and entered dogs are not permitted to train on the grounds. Dogs can be aired or exercised only in designated areas (areas that will not be used during the tests).

Please be thoughtful and clean up after yourself and your dogs; this includes cigarette butts and poop scoop bags. Treat the grounds with the utmost in respect. We extend special thanks to Mary Lou Dunn for generously allowing us the use of Far Meadow Farm.

We are also having an Working Dog test for English Cocker Spaniels. Please read the additional information section for more information.

Hope to see you at the hunt tests and Work Dog tests.
