WELCOME STATEMENT

Central Wisconsin Sporting Spaniel Club (CWSSC) is hosting a two day Open All Age/Amateur Cocker Spaniel/English Cocker Spaniel Field Trial to start at 8:00am each day. The event will include a Puppy Stake on Saturday at the Oasis Game Farm - N9074 Cty Rd J, New Glarus, WI.
The Amateur event will follow the 2nd series of the Open. The Puppy (on Saturday only) will follow the 2nd series of the Amateur event.
Blaze ORANGE must be worn by all those on the event grounds.

DUE TO COVID 19, NO FOOD WILL BE AVAILABLE TO PARTICIPANTS AT THE GROUNDS. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY. PLEASE FOLLOW CURRENT GUIDELINES. THE CHOICE OF MASKS IS SOLEY UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL. EVERYONE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN HEALTH AND SAFETY.

Camping: Oasis Game Farm will allow camping on their property. The fee is $10.00 per night with electricity/use your own generator. $20.00 per night to plug in using their electricity. DRAWINGS/RUNNING ORDER

Drawings will take place at Huntsecretary.com 8:00 AM ET on 9/2/2020. The Running Order will be electronically randomized and adjusted slightly to accommodate handlers running multiple dogs.

 

SCRATCHES
Scratches prior to closing date will be refunded by HuntSecretary.com unless Club Scratch Policy below states otherwise.
 
After the closing date, all scratches will be handled based on the Club Scratch Policy specified below.

Money will be refunded if a dog is wounded or dies, or for any female in season at time of Field Trial. Other refunds are at the discretion of the Field Trial Committee.

Prior to the close, if an AKC/Parent Club event has to cancel due to COVID, only the entry fee will be refunded.

Note: Grounds NORTH of the intersection of County Road J and Route 39

From Super 8 Hotel in Monroe, WI.
(County Road J is very twisty, so use Route 69 North to New Glarus. Should take about 30 - 35 minutes via Rt 69. Otherwise, using County Road J out of Monroe, should take about 20 –25 minutes. )

Follow signs for 69N from Hotel. Take exit for WI-69N Monticello/New Glarus. Go approx. 15 miles to New Glarus and turn Left onto WI-39. Stay left on WI-39, go about 6 miles and turn RIGHT on CR-J(north) Grounds approx. 1 mile on LEFT.

In consideration of the acceptance of this entry, I (we) agree to abide by the rules and regulations of The American Kennel Club in effect at the time of this event, and any additional rules and regulations appearing in the premium list of this event and entry form and any decision made in accord with them. I (we) agree that the club holding this event has the right to refuse this entry for cause which the club shall deem sufficient. I (we) certify and represent that the dog entered is not a hazard to persons or other dogs. In consideration of the acceptance of this entry and of the holding of this event and of the opportunity to have the dog judged and to win prizes, ribbons, or trophies, I (we) agree to hold the AKC, the event-giving club, their members, directors, governors, officers, agents, superintendents or event secretary and the owner and/or lessor of the premises and any provider of services that are necessary to hold this event and any employees or volunteers of the aforementioned parties, and any AKC approved judge, judging at this event, harmless from any claim for loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of this dog while in or about the event premises or grounds or near any entrance thereto, and I (we) personally assume all responsibility and liability for any such claim; and I (we) further agree to hold the aforementioned parties harmless from any claim for loss, injury or damage to this dog.
