Welcome to the Northern Minnesota English Springer Spaniel Fall Field trial to be held at Pine Shadows Daybreak Hunting Lodge in Frederick South Dakota. Be a part of history and run your springers in the 5th annual Spaniel field trial held in South Dakota. South Dakota is considered the ultimate pheasant hunting state.

The trial will be held on September 14, 15, 2019 on the grounds of Daybreak Hunting lodge 37853 111th Street, Frederick South Dakota. Headquarters will be the Hudson House on the campus of Daybreak.
We are honored to have as our judges as Jeff Brooks and Terry Quinlan
Puppy judges and youth judges will be Katie Gorecki from Minnesota and Todd Stelzer from Wisconsin


Tick Borne Disease Initiative
Dr Christy Peterson and her team from University of Iowa will be doing the blood draw again on the Tick Borne disease Initiative sponsored by the parent club. Her team will be at Daybreak for Saturday Sept 14


Schedule:
The trial will start at 8 am Saturday September 15, 2018. Trial grounds will be marked.

Friday night reception and grill night at the Post from 5:00 pm until dusk – all trialers welcome

Saturday breakfast 6:30 am at the Hudson House

Saturday Lunch at the Post from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm – all trialers welcome

There will be a Saturday evening dinner at Daybreak

DRAWINGS/RUNNING ORDER

Drawings will take place at Huntsecretary.com 8:00 AM ET on 9/4/2019. The Running Order will be electronically randomized and adjusted slightly to accommodate handlers running multiple dogs.

Scratches prior to closing date will be refunded by HuntSecretary.com unless Club Scratch Policy below states otherwise.
 
After the closing date, all scratches will be handled based on the Club Scratch Policy specified below.

ACCOMMODATIONS

Lodging Options: Below is a listing of possible lodging options. The judges and many of the club members will be staying at Daybreak which is located on the grounds.
Motor coaches and travel trailers can also park at Daybreak. We have ample space for those units. Please check in with Mark or Morgan if you plan on having a travel trailer.
