This hunt is held under the rules of the North American Hunting Retriever Association, Inc.

Due to the combining of stakes, cross entries will not be allowed.
Skunk River HRA reserves the right to change or combine stakes or assign additional judges if deemed necessary for large/small entries.

Welcome Statement

SRHRA welcomes all handlers, judges, workers, and guests to our spring hunt test. This event will be at Shadowland Kennels Red Gate Field and Lemon Field in Oskaloosa, Iowa. We want to thank Julie McVay and Ed Lemon for allowing us to use their property! Please remember this is private property. Please carry all trash or non biodegradable material out with you. Please clean up after your dogs!

Scratches
Scratches prior to closing date will be refunded by HuntSecretary.com.
 
After the closing date, all scratches will be handled based on the Club Scratch Policy specified below.
 
Club Scratch Policy

Full refund will be given for dogs withdrawn prior to the closing date. After the closing date, full refund will be given to bitches in season, injured dogs, or the death of a dog. The refund will only be given when the request is accompanied by a written veterinary certificate. The refund request is to be sent or given to the Hunt Test Secretary within 10 days of the completion of the event.

Spend some time sharing stories with your fellow handlers after the test! Join us for wild game street tacos and other snacks at Edmondson Park Rotary Shelter (1420 11th Ave W, Oskaloosa). Dinner is a free will donation, but bring your wallet and test your luck at our raffles.

To Test Sites from Oskaloosa:


Red Gate Field -- 1657 Highway 92): Follow IA-92 West for 5 miles. Red Gate field is on the north side of the road.


Lemon Field (1493 260th): Follow I-92 West for 6 miles. Turn South on Ford Ave. Travel approximately 1 mile and turn West(right) at 260th (the first cross street). The cattle field entrance is on the North(right) side of the road, just past the house with the address of 1493 260th.
